Steel Dove's music contains God's Word set to several different flavors - praise and worship, classic rock, southern rock, and alternative.

Steel Dove is based out of Paducah, Kentucky, and has played at churches and at various other Christian events in Kentucky, Illinois, Tennessee, Missouri, and Florida. They have also played at fundraisers, such as American Cancer Society Relay for Life, March of Dimes Walk America, United Way Victory Celebration, etc.

Playdoe began when a local praise and worship team began to dare to think outside of the box. Andy Cutrell (lead vocals and lead guitar) and his sister, Brigitte (lead vocals), and their father Sam (bass),  answered the calling in their hearts to reach out with the Love of Jesus to their community in  Malden, Missouri, as a youth worship band. As they trusted and obeyed God, He began to give Andy new songs. But they had to trust the Lord for a drummer with the same heart and many did come and go. When Derek Sain (drummer and vocalist), joined Playdoe, all the pieces finally fit.

Five guys got together just before Christmas 2003 to play for fun. We were asked a few weeks later by the pastor of First Baptist Church in Smithland Kentucky to play a few songs New Year's Eve for a youth lock-in. We figured we should come up with a band name and Psalm 98:4 was suggested (because we had no problem making "joyful noise"). A month later we were asked to play at the Livingston County Youth Explosion 2004 and even played an original song or two. Since then, we have played a few more small gatherings to further the Gospel. Well, the Lord has continued to bless us with more songs and we had enough to record a CD. We have no idea what God has planned for us but we know it will be GREAT!!!

We are all excited about participating in Godstock for the first time!

Keith Bauer has been playing Contemporary Christian Music since the early 1970's. His unique style of strumming along with intricate finger picking, drawing from his background of Folk and Rock Music, gives this musical presentation of the Gospel, through stories and personal testimony, a style almost forgotten in today's music industry. He has been performing in churches, colleges, special events programs throughout the Midwest.

Combined with the heartbeat percussionist, Jack Coleman, who plays a conglomerate of Instrumental Accompaniments from Djembe's, Congo's, shakers, and cymbals, blends with this presentation giving the music a minstrel sound of its own.
